- Fleet of Copiers This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is: RFQ-117008 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-69 effective September 3, 2013. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811212, and the small business size standard is $25.5 million. The Department of Health and Human Services is issuing this RFQ for the maintenance of 36 CANON copiers located in 901 D Street SW, Washington, DC 20447 and 1250 Maryland Avenue SW, Washington, DC. The copiers are owned by the Government. This requirement is ONLY for maintenance of the copiers. The Program Support Center (PSC) on behalf of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has a requirement for a 12-month maintenance agreement for thirty six (36) CANON copiers. The maintenance consists of preventive and repair services for the copiers (See Attachment). Preventative services consist of those scheduled service calls necessary to maintain the equipment in first class operating condition (e.g., cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts when needed). Repair services consist of those unscheduled service calls necessary for repairs caused by fire, water, accident, and fluctuations in electrical power or customer abuse. Please see the attached list of copiers. The Period of Performance shall be from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. Evaluation will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Award will be made subject to the availability of funds. The following FAR provisions shall apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items. Offierors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
