AMARG Tools Questionnaire AMARG Tools Performance Work Statement (PWS) SOURCES SOUGHT Tools Management and Tool Maintenance Services THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) is conducting market research to determine if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561990 - ($10.0M size standard) - all other support services. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought. The AF will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on businesses capable of providing the services as described herein. OO-ALC is seeking sources to manage the tool issue center for the production technicians at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (AFB), Arizona. This contract will provide for the management of tool/rag control, the issuance/ distribution of common hand tools, laser etching tools, maintenance and accountability of tool inventories, refurbishing tool boxes / tool kits and the storing and transportation of tools. Tool management and maintenance services also include tool procurement, repair and sharpening. See attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). These services are currently being provided by Management Consulting, Inc. on contract FA8224-11-F-A004. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex Contracting Directorate (AFMC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal solicitation in the Nov/Dec 2013 timeframe for this effort. The Government contemplates a 3 to 5 year contract with the service to begin Apr/May 2014. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability and responses to the attached capability questionnaire. Include in your submission examples of relevant experience similar in scope and a letter of interest. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all large or small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hub-zone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size. Fill free to include comments and support associated to risk areas. Please limit your responses to ten pages.
