- SPM7M2-13-R-0041 The proposed procurement is for NSN, 1720-01-124-6748 made I/A/W 97415, GE Aviation, part number 7-0507-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition. Contract type is firm-fixed price for a base quantity of 55. Item is for a DLA Stock Location. Requested delivery is 720 days for production. Solicitation will require FOB Origin with preliminary inspection at Origin and acceptance point at Destination. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. The Solicitation/Request for proposal will be Forth coming and will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). The website address (URL) is https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. Please refer to the mentioned website for the complete solicitation. Note: Copies of this solicitation will be available only via the World Wide Web. All responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received shall be considered. Offerors are also advised to update ORCA. The following applies: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interest persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Issue date will be September 25, 2013.
