Description
This is a sources sought notice only; it is not a request for quotations or offers. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO9) on behalf of the VAMC Memphis is posting this Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of locating capable small businesses to provide Locum Tenen services. NCO9 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a contract to provide Angio-Interventional Radiology Services to be performed on-site at the Memphis VA Medical Center. This is an urgent requirement for healthcare resources to be furnished on-site at the Memphis Veteran Affairs Medical Center (Memphis VAMC) located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis TN 38104-2127. The anticipated period of performance will be from the date of award through a one year period. Qualified personnel must be American citizens (or offer evidence of a green card). Contractor's employee(s) shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements, to include the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. To be considered for award of a Government contract, the offeror must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. All interested parties should include the following information: 1. A company profile, including name of business, DUNS number, CAGE Code, and other pertinent information. 2. A description of capabilities. This is an urgent requirement therefore capable offerors are asked to submit CV of proposed candidate(s) and proposed pricing with their response to this sources sought notice. This requirement will be CANDIDATE SPECIFIC and will include evaluation factors. Only candidates who are proposed to actually fulfill the requirement should be submitted - "sample" candidates should NOT be submitted under any circumstances. 3. Past performance data for similar size facilities, multiple locations which demonstrate your capability to satisfactorily execute a contract to provide primary medical care services as described in this notice. Data shall include customer name, address, contract number, and point of contact information (name, phone number, and email address.) 4. The business size and business socioeconomic category. (Please note, all SDVOSBs and VOSBs must be verified by the office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving any award.) Interested parties should respond not later than September 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Central Time. This sources sought notice is to assist NCO9 in identifying an appropriate acquisition strategy only. Written communication received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining current market capabilities for the services identified within this notice. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced and posted on this website at a later date. This notice does not commit the government to contract for any supply or service. The government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this source sought notice. Do not contact medical center staff in regards to this requirement, as they are not authorized discuss this matters related to this action. No phone calls will be accepted.
