Description

The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a firm fixed price contract to HeatCon Composite Systems Inc, 600 Andover Park East, Seattle, WA 98188, Cage Code: (0ED96) on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research has determined this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items, V22 Proprotor Blade Flexible Heat Blanket Sets designed to interface with the electronic bonding system at Fleet Readiness Center East. The quantity required to fulfill the Government's requirement is estimated to be three sets. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining to conduct a competitive procurement.
