- Justification and Approval for ballistic carriers requirement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-13-Q-0050. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 315990. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is 500 Employees. All offers are to remain valid for a period of 60 days or more.
