Description
Model 60 Cooler Assembly C-70-019-WD (3 of 3) Rev 1 C-70-019-WD (2 of 3) Rev 1 C-70-019-WD (1 of 3) Rev 2 60-013 Rev 2 9-E-08 Rev 2 The Purpose of this Amendment is to provide the official responses to Questions asked from Site Visit on September 3, 2013 and to include supporting documents for the Questions. The Response Date will also be extended until 5:00 PM, EST on Thursday September 12, 2013. All other terms and conditions remain the same. Question 1: What are the specifications for the Exhaust System? Answer 1: See engineering calculations on Exhaust System. Question 2: What is the model of the existing Heat Exchanger? Answer 2: See Cooling System drawing. Question 3: Where is the Transfer Switch? Answer 3: Existing system does not use a Transfer Switch. All transfer functionality and protections are handled by the Motor Control Centers. Question 4: Is there power available for a Low Voltage Battery Charger? Answer 4: Yes, 120 V power is available in the diesel cage area for battery charging functionality. Question 5: The existing design shows a single Transfer Fuel Pump, is there a second one? Answer 5: See drawing 60-013 Rev 2 Question 6: What all signal interfaces are required? Answer 6: See drawing C-70-019. Note: There is no existing Fire Alarm connection. There is only a dry-contact alarm for failure to start. The wiring to the control room for this alarm shall be reused.
