- Note: Questions and Answers updated 9 September 2013. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912LA-13-T-7000, UPT VECTOR PARACHUTES, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-69, effective 1 August 2013. Award will be made without negotiation. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses with the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 314999; the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this code is 500 employees or fewer. The California Air National Guard (CA ANG) intends to purchase EIGHT (8) UPT Vector Parachutes (kits), quote mark Brand Name or Equivalent quote mark. Each Parchute (kit) shall be composed of one (1) each of the following: P/N UPT-100-358-002; SABRE-2 (230) Main; PD Reserve (235). All items under this solicitation shall be delivered to the 129th Rescue Wing, Moffett Federal Airfield, California. Each CLIN should be priced independently and on a net basis (i.e., the sum of all items indicated for that CLIN). One contract line item number (CLIN) is anticipated: 0001 - UPT VECTOR PARACHUTE (INSTRUCTOR) - 6 KT In accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 11-410, Personnel Parachute Operations, paragraph 2.10.13, all items offered in response to this solicitation must appear on the quote mark approved for flight quote mark list as prescribed by the Air National Guard (ANG) Personnel Parachute Program Manager (PPPM).
