Description
The Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, GA intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source type contract to Thales Communications, Inc. (Cage:23386). Contractor shall refurbish Government owned equipment to OEM standards for the following: CLIN 0001: Refurbishment of Receiver Transmitter, Radio, NSN: 5820-01-487-0972, Quantity: 200 Each CLIN 0002: Refurbishment of System Module, Radio, NSN: 5820-01-487-0975, Quantity: 7 Each Ship to: MCLB Bldg 1221 DR 20 Albany, GA 31704. FOB: Destination. Delivery date: 90 days after induction into the rebuild cycle. The NAICS Code is 334220 and the small business size 750 employees. This requirement is not set-aside for small business. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. NO TECHNICAL DATA IS AVAILABLE. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose. The Government will consider all responses from capable interested offerors received within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this notice of proposed contract action. Such offers must be supported by information to enable the government to evaluate an offerors capability to repair these items without the government providing technical data.
