Brand Name Justification See attachement for full RFQ details. This Request for Quote (RFQ), N00104-13-Q-Q618, is for EMC software license renewals, hardware / software maintenance & support prepared in accordance with the procedures in FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ; said maintenance is to be purchased for the Fleet Numerical Meteorology & Oceanography Center (FLENUMMETOCCEN) located in Monterey, CA. The NAICS code associated with this purchase is 334112, Computer Storage Device Manufacturing. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support - Mechanicsburg intends to solicit EMC AUTHOURIZED resellers / distributors for the required hardware / software maintenance & support; see below for specifics. Brand name equivalent / third party support is NOT acceptable. ALL SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED BY EMC. SUBSTITUTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
