- Description
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration, (GIPSA), Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) intends to procure various inspection sampling supplies from one or more contractors, l which includes plastic bags, coin envelopes, plastic ties, and plastic bottles. The duration of these Blanket Purchase Agreements will be October 1 2013 through September 2018, base year and 4 option years, for a maximum contract length of five years. This requirement is a small business set aside. The NAICS Code is 322232 Envelope Manufacturing, 326111 Plastic Bags, 326160 Plastic Bottles and 326199 All Other Plastics Product Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 employees, or less. The USDA intends to award a Firm-fixed price commercial contract for this effort This will be a best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Quote (RFQ) AG-6395-S-13-0161, will be released on or about Sept 6, 2013 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. All responsible offers may submit an offer to the solicitation. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at this site.
