- Description
- Amendment to add the following instrument specifics: The Kintek stopped flow instrument and quench flow instrument uses servo motors, which produce higher repeatability than stepper motors used in other instruments. Repeatability is essential to the labs kinetic experiments, as multiple runs of each experiment are run to confirm results. In addition, the Kintek instruments have low dead volumes (as low as 15 microliters) allowing conservation of the lab's purified reagents. Both the servo motor and the low dead volume is a critical feature to the lab for their ongoing experiments, as they spend a great deal of time, effort, and resources purifying their reagents. This sample conservation will allow the lab to perform more experiments with less effort and cost to the lab. Note: The response date for this amendment is extended to September 4, 2013 at 10:00AM. There are no other changes to this solicitation.
