- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Requirements contract for a Firm Fixed Price Automatic Door Maintenance located at Fort Drum, NY. The Government intends to award a single contract for Automatic Door Maintenance located at Fort Drum, NY. The contract type will be a Requirements Contract with Firm Fixed Unit Prices (IAW FAR 16.503 Requirements Contracts) and options (IAW FAR 17.2 Options.) This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The successful Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to perform semi-annual preventative maintenance and inspections; and respond to emergency service calls, to maintain safe and effective operation of automatic doors located on Fort Drum, New York IAW the PWS, contract specifications, and the terms and conditions of the contract. The anticipated ordering period is 01 January 2014 through 31 December 2014 with Base plus four (4) one-year option periods. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference RFQ number W911S2-13-T-3025 in the subject line. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment, size standard $7.0 Million. This procurement is one hundred percent set-aside for Small Business concerns. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 811310. Representations and certifications must also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) for free at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Upon release to the public, the RFQ as well as any amendments will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitaiton. The RFQ will specify the actual date and time for quote receipt. After the solicitation is posted, questions shall be submitted in writing via email to the Contract Specialist at kelly.s.taranto.civ@mail.mil, or delivered, mailed to, Mission & Installation Contracting Command, 45 West Street, Fort Drum, NY 13602-5220.
