Description
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is seeking information for the US ARMY RDECOM ARDEC on potential suppliers of Polyvinyl Acetate Resin (PVAc resin) grade AYAA. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Contact with Government personnel other than those specified in this RFI by potential offerors or their employees' regarding this project is prohibited. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on vendors capable of providing the services as described herein. The Government is conducting market research to obtain information on Polyvinyl Acetate Resin PVAcs (specifically grade AYAA) that are currently available Off the Shelf (OTS) for use in the M213 Fuze (1330-00-182-3570). The NAICS code for this item is 332993 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Army to develop requirements for the binder to be used in pyrotechnic delay columns, and will not be disclosed outside the agency. At a minimum the following information is requested: (1) Part Number, (2) Material data sheet, (3) if the material submitted is readily available and/or currently being produced. Information shall be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of this publication to: Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, ATTN: CCRC-AM, Stephanie Migawa, 1 Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Il 61299-8000.
