- Solicitation Package Solicitation Cover Letter This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation TBPDAFRW13Q0013 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. The NAICS code is 812310 and the size standard is 7.0 million. This is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) is contracting to acquire washer and dryer maintenance services. A site visit shall be conducted to provide all Offerors the opportunity to visit the facilitiy and understand the requirements for this solicitation at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, located at 3700 North Capitol Street, NW, Washingon, DC 20011-8400. The site visit shall take place on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:00 am EST. Those parties interested in participating in the visit SHOULD contact David Dayton via email at David.Dayton@bpd.treas.gov or by phone at 304-480-7142 NLT (no later than) 3:00 pm EST, Wednesday, September 4, 2013. **Limit of 2 representatives per Offeror** No questions shall be asked or addressed at the site visit. All questions shall be submitted in writing by the time designated below. All questions must be submitted in electronic format, such as a Microsoft Word attachment no later than, Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
