Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, fixed-price quotes are requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation number L13PS01093. This document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-69. This solicitation is set-aside for small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 337215 Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The small business size standard for a concern which submits an offer in its own name, other than on a construction or service contract, but which proposes to furnish a product which it did not itself manufacture, is 500 employees. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the Boise Regional Seed Warehouse has a requirement for warehouse pallet racking shelf units meeting the following specifications: Boise Regional Seed Warehouse is in a Seismic zone 2b, with a moderate risk rating. Pallet racks shall meet all seismic standards required. Pallet racks shall be made of steel construction. Shelf beams shall have tear drop design channels for attaching to uprights. All columns of racks shall be furnished with proper bearing plates attached to bottom of uprights. Wire decking will have 4 channels for added strength. Wire Decking shall have a weight capacity of a minimum 3,000 lbs. Shelf beam safe working unit load for each shelf beam level should be between 6,280 to 8,000 lbs. for the 108 long beams and 2,000 lbs. for the 48" long beams. Total amount needed for 192"x 42" uprights: quantity 98 Total amount needed for 108" shelf beams: quantity 564 Total amount needed for 48" shelf beams: quantity 60 Total amount needed for 42"x 52" wire decking: quantity 490 Total amount needed for 42"x46" wire decking: quantity 60 All transportation or freight costs for order shall be paid by the Contractor and included in the unit price quoted for each item. All items shall be visually inspected by the Government for compliance with the contract specifications. No items shall be accepted that do not comply with the specifications. Final acceptance shall be the responsibility of the Contracting Officer (CO). The line item number is: 10 for the complete project, broke-down by the individual items requested This solicitation is "All or None" Estimated Period of Performance: Delivery within 60 days The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52,212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable, and the following shall be included in paragraph (a) of this provision. Quotes will be evaluated on past performance and price listed in descending order of importance. Past Performance shall equal Price. PAST PERFORMANCE: Offeror shall provide company/organization names, contract number, name of contact person, and telephone number for three (3) contracts/orders performed within the last year of similar magnitude, including at a minimum of one federal government (non-military) contract. Past performance will be based on the Contracting Officers knowledge, contacting provided references, and other reasonable sources.
