- Contractor is to provide Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Packaged Salads, Live Potted Plants, and Ornamental Produce for 14 commissaries located in Area 4, Group 1 and Group 2 of Defense Commissary Agency's West and Alaska Areas. These 14 commissaries are located in the West and Southwest areas including Alaska which are assigned to the Defense Commissary Agency's (DeCA) West Area. Area 4, Group 1 and Group 2 are listed below. Area 4 includes two groups that are geographically grouped as follows: Group 1: (9 Commissary Locations) Bangor NSB WA; Bremerton NS, WA; Fairchild AFB, WA; Ft. Lewis, WA; Malmstrom AFB, MT; McChord AFB, WA; Mountain Home AFB, ID ; Smokey Point, WA; Whidbey Island, WA Group 2: (5 Commissary Locations) Anchorage, AK; Eielson AFB, AK; Ft. Greely, AK; Ft. Wainwright, AK; Kodiak, AK A single solicitation containing two geographical areas will be issued. Area 4 will be solicited as two groups, 1 and 2. Each group will be independently evaluated and awarded on an "all or none" basis. The Government will award one or more contract(s) resulting from this solicitation based on evaluation using the best value, lowest-priced technically-acceptable (LPTA) procedures. An Indefinite-Delivery Requirements Type contract with Fixed Prices. The base period of performance shall commence approximately 30 days after notification of contract award (or a date specified by the Contracting Officer) for 24 consecutive months plus three 12-month option periods. The SIC code for Area 4, Group 1 are 8915 and the NAICS code is 311991for this requirement with a size standard of 500 employees. The RFP will be released on or about September 6, 2013. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set aside.
