Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Salem, Virginia 24153, will be soliciting quotes for boiler inspections services. The contractor shall provide all materials and supplies necessary to complete the service. A request for quote, VA246-13-Q-1874, will be issued on or about August 23, 2013. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2013 (or date of award) through September 30, 2014 for the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 238290 with a size standard of $14 Million.
