Description
SPACE DESIRED FOR VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER United States Government desires to lease approximately 6000 net usable square feet (NUSF) of space at one location within the area bounded as follows: South of 33rd Street to South of Harford Road to South of 32nd Street to West of Erdman Ave to North of Pulaski Highway to West of Haven Street to North of Eastern Ave to East of Front Street to North of Pratt to East of Fulton Ave to South of Druid Park Lake Drive to South of 29th Street to East of Charles Street to 33rd Street. Space will be used for personnel, furnishings, equipment and provision of services to Veterans. After hours and weekend access required. Space shall be on one floor and fully handicapped accessible. Parking is required for 24 vehicles, including 4 handicapped spots. Occupancy required by 1 March 2014. A lease up to ten (10) years considered but is not guaranteed. Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) shall submit specific information concerning their properties to the address below, 2 copies by mail or via e-mail no later than 4:00 p.m. (EST) on September 12, 2013: VA Maryland Health Care System ATTN: Ms. Sally Familton Telephone: 410-637-1507 E-Mail: sally.familton@va.gov NUSF does not include such areas as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules and public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. The Government is limited by law (41 C.F.R. § 102-73.55) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
