- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to modify contract N62645-13-F-0022 by adding a two month option period to the contract. Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. currently provides Naval Hospital Bremerton with cost per test lab analyzers, quality control, and consumables under contract N62645-13-F-0022. The current contract expires 30 Sep 13. The modification shall extend the period of performance to 01 Sep 2013 - 30 Nov 2013. The government anticipates competing a follow on requirement for cost per test lab analyzers, quality control, maintenance, and consumables. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (FAR 13.5). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334516 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Derek Bell at Derek.Bell@med.navy.mil (in subject line reference: N62645-13-F-0022). Statements are due no later than 5 Sep 13, 3:00 PM. No phone calls accepted.
