- Description
- Joint Base Andrews is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the mill/overlay of taxiway November and the repair of spalls/joint sealant of taxiway Charlie at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland locations. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 15 Contracting by Negotiation and 36 Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the repairs to the taxiways. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310 (Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction). The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. In accordance with FAR 19.14, this action is 100% set-aside for Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Offerors shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
