- **This is a Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with FAR 15.201 (b). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is NOT a request for contractual offers. RFIs are used to gather information from industry without any promise of a current or future contract or requirement. Information provided cannot be used to create a binding contract. Respondents to the RFI will not be reimbursed for the information provided to HQ ACC.** Commander, Air Combat Command and Air Combat Command's Directorate of Plans, Programs & Requirements will host the next phase of the ACC Innovation summit " Air Superiority: 2030 and Beyond," on 12-13 September 2013, at the Creech Conference Center, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The innovation summit seeks participants from academia, research organizations, and industry. NOTE: Seating is limited, so participation is limited to two people per organization/company on a first come, first serve basis. Tentative Agenda: Day 1, 12 Sep 1000-1145 Creech Conference Center registration for both days/ security verification. Day 1, 12 Sep 1200-1700 consists of COMACC opening remarks, Unclassified briefs including Air Force Chief Scientist's Global Horizons Study, NASA's Air Superiority Science & Technology efforts, and Air University's Future Operating Environment, as well as a Panel on Innovation Opportunities. Day 2, 0800-1230 consists of SECRET-level briefings from ACC Core Function Teams on Air Superiority Challenges/Gaps, DARPA and Navy briefs on their Air Superiority Efforts, and COMACCs closing remarks. To preregister for the Innovation Summit and ensure access to Langley Air Force Base, please fill out the preregistration form at: https://einvitations.afit.edu/inv/index.cfm?i=164984&k=036746007353 NLT Tuesday 3 September. There is no registration fee for this event. Participants must indicate their attendance at either Day 1, Day 2, or both days, depending on Security Clearance. For those attending the classified briefings please have your security monitor send a request for each attendee through JPAS to SMO Code LE1CFNQY6 NLT 5 September. After registering, you will receive a welcome package with information about the event and area. Additional details regarding the Summit to include the base access process and final agenda will be made available as they are developed. Dress for the event is business casual or for military, short sleeve blue shirt, open collar or equivalent. For those that cannot attend, slides will be posted to FBO (Unclass) or DTIC SIPR site (Classified material) following the event.
