- Solicitation Additional Documents NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Jacksonville, FL intends to solicit utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13.5) on a 100% small business set-aside basis, a packing, containerization and drayage f direct procurement method (DPM) personal property shipments for NAS, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, services and materials, except as specified in the performance work statement as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) pwesonnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is N68836-13-R-0013. The period of performance will consist of a base year and four (4) one-year options. The anticipated start date is 1 October 2013. Interested parties can view documents via http://www.fedbizops.gov. The Government will not distribute a hard copy of the solicitation or amendment documents. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. Ne telephone or FAX requests wiill be accepted, and no hard copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or Faxed. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Managment (SAM) database prior to receiving a government awarded contract. The SAM website is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
