In order to communicate, educate and engage diverse public targets about NOAA's climate science and services, the CPO requires ongoing design, development and production of accessible and easy-to-understand information resources-including science writing and editing, scientific data visualizations, illustrations, graphics, interface design, programming, photography and videography. These resources are published in a range of the agency's in-reach and outreach programs-including, but not limited to the NOAA Climate.gov Portal; digital planetariums; digital video discs; streaming video over the internet; live audience presentations; and poster and printed materials for display and handout. Modification 001 was issued for continued support to the NOAA Climate.gov Program. The NOAA.gov Program Manager is actively working with NOAA's Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) to stand up a new contract vehicle, which is targeted to begin May 1, 2014. The contract extension and additional funding will ensure a successful transition of NOAA's mission critical program. (17) Place of Contract Performance - Maryland (18) Set-aside Status - Small
