- The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO East Program Office, Denver, Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69, August 1, 2013. The North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 518210 Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services and the size standard is $30.0 million in sales. The government has determined that Emergency Care Research Institute (DBA: ECRI Institute) is the only source that can satisfy this agency requirement. The requirement is to obtain access to ECRI Institute Health Devices Gold and Alerts Tracker for medical devices with Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management Systems integration. The ECRI Institute Health Devices Gold and Alerts Tracker will provide a comprehensive portfolio of Web resources and online tools to help the VA ensure patient safety, track hazards and recalls, and make informed healthcare technology decisions. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO East Program Office, Denver, Colorado. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome propriety information. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
