Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT for the 12KV power installation to the Defenders Lodge at VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Palo Alto CA. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21), Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) intends to issue a TASK ORDER PROPOSAL REQUEST (TOPR). Proposals will be requested and shall only be accepted from contractors who were awarded a Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) from Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21). The TOPR is for Project Number: 640-388 Project Title: Defenders Lodge 12KV Power Installation. Scope of Work includes but is not limited to scheduling of activities illustrating power shut downs and lane closures, provide and installation of the High Voltage vault, trench for the new duct bank and provide new pathway from existing manhole #9 to the NEW manhole #16B, and to the NEW manhole #16A, to the south station 2 at the Defenders Lodge at VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Offerors are advised to check www.fbo.gov frequently as they are responsible for obtaining updates. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement will be 236220 (Commercial & Institutional Building Construction), size standard is$33.5M. Project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The TOPR is expected to be released on or about August 14, 2013. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified, the solicitation will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov). Further details will be provided in the TOPR.
