Description
PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3, Iron River National Fish Hatchery, near Iron River, in Bayfield County, Wisconsin ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Drilling one (1)- potable water well from the ground surface to a depth of approximately 100 feet including installing one 150 gpm submersible variable speed well pump with casing, well screen, wiring and appurtenant work including mobilization/demobilization, grouting and development, well samples, logs, reports, water testing, and chlorination. Work also includes installing one pre-cast concrete manhole, laying 3 inch diameter pvc pipeline to a hatchery building including installing a flow sensor switch and valves, constructing and connecting a degassing system to the pipe system and supplying power to the pump including all wiring, conduit and boxes as shown on the contract drawings. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 million. The Solicitation Package includes the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form.
