- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and tools to test, adjust, and balance (TAB) the air, hydronic and refrigeration components of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at the uscg Sector Long Island Sound Quinton Walsh Mission Building. The work is to conduct TAB the boilers, chiller, pumps, FCU’s, AHU’s condensing units, exhaust fans, and all other equipment listed in the Schedules and located as shown on the as-built drawings. All FCU controls and wiring are concealed above the suspended ceiling; so much work shall be performed at an elevated level from the floor. The piping system is insulated. This solicitation will result in a Simplified Acquisition Commercial Item service contract, with an anticipated period of performance of 60 days after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238220 with a small business size standard of $14.0M. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 12, and is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The estimated range of this requirement is between $25,000 and $50,000. Solicitation packages will be available for download on or about 15 August 2013. Competed price quotations will be due by close of business 5September 2013. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: www.fbo.gov.
