- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is M62974-13-T-3000 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-69. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333120 with a small business size standard of 750.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2013-08-16 17:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be MCAS YUMA, AZ 85369 The USMC - Camp Pendleton requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: The item must be brand name or equal to an Asphault Zipper Model: AZ-500B. If quoting equal items they must meet the following minimum Salient Characteristics: -48" Cutting Width -12" Cutting Depth -6000 square feet/hour cutting speed -Must attach to a 3 yd loarder -Must mixes additives, perform full depth reclamation, pulverize and mix old asphalt into base, grade, and compact asphalt, seal and/or pave asphalt. Vendor will also provide the following additional supplies: -Wireless Remote -Grind Box (Material Containment System) -48" Z-Mag Cutter Head with Tri-Spec Bits -(25) Extra Tri-Spec Bits -(5) Extra Blocks -Brass Hammer for bit replacement -2lb Sledge Hammer for bit replacement -Curved Punch -Owner & Operator Manual -Starter Kit containing: (1) oil filter, (1) fuel filter, (1) Water Separator Fuel Filter, (1) Primary & (1) Secondary Air Filter,(10) quarts 80/90 Synthetic Gear Oil,(1) Lube Gun, Full Set (134) Tri-Spec Bits. Upon completion of the delivery and prior to final acceptance by the government the contractor shall provide training to MWSS371 Marines working out of building 3245 to ensure they know how to properly operate and maintain the equipment., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, USMC - Camp Pendleton intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing quotes, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
