Description

Notice of Intent to Sole-Source This announcement is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract under the requirements of FAR Part 15 and FAR 6.302-1, "Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source" The applicable NAICS code is 334310 with a size standard of 750 Employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Benefits Administration, Eastern Area Contracting Team intends to award a sole source contract to Long & McQuade, LLC located in Toronto, Ontario for purchase and installation of highly customized configuration of musical equipment necessary to equip a home recording for a disabled veteran residing in Toronto, Canada as part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program. The basis of the noncompetitive selection is Long & McQuade's unsurpassed knowledge of the disabled veteran's talents and specific needs and the unique capability of Long & McQuade to provide follow-on services. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals. No solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide these services are encouraged to identify themselves and submit a capability statement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
