Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) intends to enter into a contract on the basis of full and open competition for a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution that shall allow for the viewing of clinical images stored in Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) Imaging on web-enabled and mobile devices in the desktop, tablet and phone form factors of the provider. The TAC intends to award a 24 month, firm-fixed price contract. A formal source selection will be utilized and contract award will be based on the best overall (i.e., best value) proposal. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 339112 with a corresponding small business size standard of 500. The VA intends to issue a solicitation on or about August 12, 2013. The estimated date of award for this action is September 30, 2013. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
