- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Secured cabinet with electric lock Alarmed cabinet for unauthorized use. Built-in line with backlight for night use and Alpha-Numeric Keypad. Key locations are identified by Built-in Display and illuminating key location. Each Key is electronically locked in its location, and can only be released if the User has access to that Key or Keys. Monitored battery backup for 48 Serial ports for printing or Biometric Communications and electrical connections external or internal. Built-In Internal Card Reader Interface and Relay Input Interface. Random Return Feature to allow users to return keys to any open location within the cabinet. All key movements are tracked by Time, Date and User Code. Key removal by number or name. Programmable to release Keys within specified day(s) of week to Users. Provides an alarm for Overdue Keys, Illegal Removals, Door Left open, Illegal Entry, and Invalid Keys. Key Reservations allow keys to be reserved for a specific user. Multiple-Key access Capable of producing reports that include quote mark Key Name quote mark, quote mark User Name quote mark, quote mark Time & Date quote mark of transaction with no computer needed. The FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are available to be viewed on the attached solicitation. Quotes are due no later than 12:00pm (CST) on 14 Aug, 2013.
