- MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office, Tacoma, WA intends to award a firm fixed priced order under FAR Part 6.302-1 for Software Modules Upgrade on the existing LapSim GYN and LapChole Equipment Lap to American Medical Depot in the amount of $36,144.00 for a one-time purchase. The Andersen Simulation Center (ASC) is one of six Beta testing sites involved in various studies. The software upgrade is considered mission critical and imperative to the existing equipment at the hospital for maintaining patient care. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Ms. Angela Dexter at angela.a.dexter.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
