- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W911W6-13-R-0012 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Under this number, the Army Contracting Command (ACC) / Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD), 401 Lee Boulevard, Fort Eustis, VA 23604 intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 334418. The small business size standard is 500. AATD intends to purchase, on a sole-source basis under the authority of FAR clause 13.106-1(b), one hundred ten (110) UH-60A/L Retransmit Transformer Box Circuit Card Assemblies, part number 1010120-01. These manufactured circuit card assemblies shall require non-recurring engineering (NRE) programming, NRE testing, NRE tooling, NRE material/testing, and quality NRE First Article Inspection compliant with AS9102 before delivery. These units will be used to integrate quote mark stand alone quote mark communications upgrades for a number of deploying UH-60 helicopters via the ARC-231 SATCOM / LOS radio retrofit kit. The quote shall include shipping charges for delivery to AATD. The intended source for these units is Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing, Inc. located at 233 Rodeo Drive, Killdeer, North Dakota 58640. Delivery of these units is expected to be seventeen (17) weeks After Receipt of Order. Delivery, Inspection, Acceptance and F.o.b. Point are Destination. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Web site www.sam.gov prior to award.
