- 66 RF Analog Signal Generator RFI This is a Request for Information (RFI). There is currently no solicitation package available. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division, (NSWC) Acquisition Department, Code CT01 is requesting information, comments, and questions regarding interest in a commercial or modified commercial remotely programmable, via GPIB IEEE-488 interface, RF Analog Signal Generator (RFASG) solution that is capable of providing: CW and analog modulation signals for calibration testing of Radio Detecting and Ranging (RADAR) test sets, Tactical Navigation (TACAN) test sets, Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) test sets, and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment such as modulation analyzers and spectrum analyzers. The RFASG will be used on shipboard and shore-based facilities and must conform to Class 4 requirements as listed in MIL-PRF-28800. Equipment will also be subjected to operational conditions aboard both military and commercial land, sea, and air vehicles during periods of operation, transportation, and storage. The maximum dimensions (excluding handles) of the RFASG shall not exceed 17.5 inches (445 mm) in width, 14 inches (356 mm) in height, and 20 inches (508 mm) in depth. The maximum weight of the RFASG shall not exceed 50 pounds (22.7 kg). The equipment shall be designed to preclude tipping during normal handling and operation. The RFASG shall operate from a source of 103.5V to 126.5V at 50 Hz and 60 Hz  5% single-phase input power and the maximum power for operation shall not exceed 200 W. Comments regarding a solution (commercial or modified commercial) that may deviate slightly from the weight and size requirement should be included as well as details of existing products that may be able to be modified to meet the specification. The government's specific interests are as follows: - Interested companies who may have a single box solution commercially available. - Interested companies who have an existing single box capable of being modified to meet the specification as listed below. If responding to this configuration, please provide general product info on what the baseline model would be. NOTE: The government is not interested in a full developmental solution at this time. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government use of such information. This RFI does not constitute the solicitation of proposals. Responders to this RFI may be requested to provide additional details/information based on their initial submittals.
