- The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State:New York City:New York (East Village) Delineated Area: North:East 34th Street East:Second Avenue South:East 23rd Street West:Fifth Avenue Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):7,738 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):8,125 Space Type:Office Parking Spaces (Total): 0 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured):0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term:10 years Firm Term:5 years Option Term:None Additional Requirements: • The leased space must be contiguous on one floor • Two elevators required if space is above ground level. One elevator can be a freight elevator • Separate visitor and employee restrooms required • Offered space must be within 2 blocks of public transportation if available in the area • Employee and Visitor parking spaces should be onsite if dictated by the local code or within 2 blocks of the leased space • Below grade space is unacceptable Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire and life safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. Authorized Contacts: GSA is using a tenant broker to represent the Government in lease negotiations for this transaction. In no event shall a potential Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning space to be leased with representatives of any Federal agency other than the authorized officers and employees of the General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative William Korchak, Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. Expression of Interests: Expressions of Interest Due:August 20, 2013 Market Survey Date (Estimated):September 2013 Occupancy (Estimated): August 2014 All expressions of interest MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING no later than August 20, 2013 and must include the following information: • Building name, building address and location of space in the building • Legal description • One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered • ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet (ABOASF) offered • Rentable Square Feet (RSF) offered • Name, address, telephone number, and email address of individual to be contacted • Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers / agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership Please note: In instances where the Offeror is representing more than one property, the Offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner Government Contact: Lease Contracting Officer: Charles Vitale Broker:Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL)
