Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), National Acquisitions and Systems Section, Washington, D.C. is seeking proposals from sources having the ability to provide a comprehensive Automated Prescription Fulfillment System (APFS) in order to implement a Mail Order Pharmacy (BOPMOP) that is comprised of software, hardware, installation, training, technical support, maintenance, and licenses at a location to be determined. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period with four (4) one-year option renewal periods for the maintenance/license service. The products and services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. The Following products and services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirement for comprehensive BOP Mail Order Pharmacy includes: Base Year 1. Software (List each application cost individually if more than one application will be required to meet SOW requirements.) a) Software b) Software Maintenance 2. User license(s) a) Cost for 400 concurrent logons throughout the BOP b) Cost for additional licenses if necessary 3. Additional modules (List all additional modules required to meet SOW requirements that are not included in Item 1 [Software] above, i.e., QC, scanning module.) 4. EMR interface (Interface with the BOP's EMR {BEMR}.) 5. System Administrator training Note: Any travel associated with the training for BOP staff will be the responsibility of the BOP. 6. On-site implementation 7. User Training 8. Hardware (Includes computers - List each item of hardware individually.) Do not include hardware maintenance - See item 9. 9. Hardware licenses (if required) 10. Hardware Maintenance For periods beyond original warranty period (please state warranty period). Please state time frame for maintenance period. 11. Pharmacy Automation Equipment (Includes items not listed in #7 above i.e conveyers, picking stations, etc.) List each cost individually, if more than item will be required to meet SOW requirements.) 12. Pharmacy Equipment Maintenance 13. Start-up supplies (List each item separately) Items may include Labels, totes, pucks, etc. Option Year Pricing (Only necessary if warranty period does not cover period of performance): Option Year One 1. Equipment Maintenance The products and services shall be in accordance with the following documents: Statement of Work, System Design and Performance, System Software and Integration. The request for proposal will be available on or after July 29, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about August 16, 2013. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 333993, which has a size standard of 500 employees. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
