- J&A Sole Source The 118th Wing Group, Tennessee Air National Guard intends to award a sole-source, fixed-price procurement with Armag Corporation under authority of FAR part 6.302-1, for repair and refurbishment of storage magazines. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The existing ARMAG vault (SN 3499) was purchased from ARMAG corporation in 2012 and is currently under warranty and needs to be modified by adding a 10' x 35' center section to the vault (ARMAG Armory Center Section, part #420120108-A). There are structural specifications with the vault that require this section to be custom made. Since this order is for an addition to an existing ARMAG product, ARMAG is the only manufacturer that is able to meet these specifications and not void the warranty. Procurement of new magazines would be very costly; therefore repair of the magazines is economical to the government. ARMAG Corporation does not have any resellers or distributers for these services. No solicitation package will package will be issued. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received not later than 1:00 PM CST on August 5, 2013. Responses shall be submitted to Greg Allen, email address gregory.allen@ang.af.mil and shall at a minimum include the following: 1. The name of your company 2. Company DUNS and CAGE Code 3. POC name and contact information 4. The specific service(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the services to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing the repair services 5. A description of the service(s) and your company's overall capabilities. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your service(s) are capable of providing the same services that exist with ARMAG Corporation mentioned above. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this noticeis solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
