Description

***EXPANDING NAICS Code to 541810*** The ARNG uses NCSAs to broadcast its national radio and television announcements in an affordable manner. An NCSA is a hybrid of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) and paid broadcast advertising. SBAs created the NCSA program so the radio and television stations served by the SBAs could benefit indirectly from the announcements they air. Each state has its own SBA that represents its radio and television broadcasters. SBAs are represented nationally by the National Alliance of State Broadcasters Associations (NASBA). Nationally broadcast advertisements increase public awareness of ARNG, clarify public understanding of ARNG's mission, and improve the public's perception of ARNG. More importantly, use of a consistent, high-quality, nationwide message enhances ARNG's image in the minds of potential recruits and their influencers, resulting in qualified recruitment leads. ARNG is the only organization that uses NCSAs on a national basis. NCSAs are only available to non-profit organizations or Government agencies that are not using paid broadcast advertising and have never paid for radio or television advertising.
