- Combo Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals/quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-65. The solicitation reference number is F4ATS03134AQ01 and this solicitation is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 335911. The small business size standard is 500 employees. CLIN 0001: Qty, 320 Ea: Batteries for the Uninterruptable Power Sources (UPS) with the serial numbers listed in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). CLIN 0002: Qty, 312 Ea: AC and DC filter capacitors the UPS with the serial numbers listed in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Include the cost of installation, materials, travel, etc., into the cost of the batteries and capacitors. Please break down the cost of the batteries and the cost of the capacitors and the total at the bottom. The Government anticipates award on a best value basis. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-priced purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.1 & 13.302 to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government IAW FAR 52.212-2. Award will be made based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Delivery shall be made within 30 Days After Delivery of Contract. ATTACHMENT 1 Statement of Work For 601st AOC Bldg. 485, UPS battery and capacitor replacement 601st Air and Space Operations Center requires the replacement of batteries and capacitors in the building UPS located in Bldg. 485, on Tyndall AFB, Florida. The scope of work will provide the replacement of 320 batteries, 96 AC input filter capacitors, 72 AC output filter capacitors, and 144 DC filter capacitors. Listed below are the following items that must be accomplished in order to complete this project. Building 485 has 4 Powerware 9315 UPS, serial numbers ER131ZXX01, ER125ZXX01, ES323ZXX03, and ES323ZXX04. During last maintenance inspection the need for battery and capacitor replacement was identified. • Contractor will provide full AC and DC filter cap replacement for the above listed units. • Contractor will provide all of the capacitors needed, safe bypass and power down of UPS systems, removal of old capacitors, installation of new capacitors, and disposal of old capacitors in accordance with the law. At that time equipment will be powered up and tested prior to safely returning customer loads from bypass. • Contractor will replace all batteries for the above listed units. Contractor will provide new batteries, labor, haul off and disposal of old batteries, travel time and returning the units back to normal working order.
