Class Code 59, Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components. The Cover, Electronic Communication Equipment will be used for repair by replacement on the Control, Transmitter, Radar NSNs: 5841-01-493-8789 and 5895-01-539-9148. The government has a requirement to procure the Cover, Electronic Communication Equipment NSN 5895-01-619-9911or equivalent to support the CXP repair lines. The proposed Cover, Electronic Communication Equipment must be ready to receive Air Worthiness certification per AR 70-62. Suppliers capable of providing the Cover, Electronic Communication Equipment must indicate in writing to PM-AME Field Office, ATTN: SFAE-AV-AS-AME (Belanger), 6007 Combat Drive, F3-140-128 Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. The responses must include documentation such as drawings, test results, and other technical information demonstrating that the supplier can provide the required hardware. The deadline for response is August 1, 2013. QUESTIONNAIRE Purpose: The purpose of questionnaire is to obtain market research information to support the associated Sources Sought announcement. Interested sources are required to address the question(s) below and provide this attachment as part of the respondents capability information 1. Have any of your company's like products (faceplate assemblies/subassemblies) received air worthiness certification per AR70-62 - AIRWORTHINESS QUALIFICATION OF U.S. ARMY AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS? (Yes or No). If yes, provide details 2. Have any of your company's like products (faceplate assemblies/subassemblies) passed enhanced environmental tests in accordance with MIL-STD-810G? (Yes or No). If yes, provide details (Parts along with MIL-STD-810G methods and procedures) 3. Have any of your company's like products (faceplate assemblies/subassemblies) passed electromagnetic interference tests in accordance with MIL-STD-461F? (Yes or No). If yes, provide details. 4. Does your company offer commercial product(s) that could be modified to fulfill the requirements of this RFI? If so, please identify these product(s). 5. What type of commercial/non-commercial warranty (as applicable) typically accompanies these products? What would the terms of the Warranty encompass (i.e., Repairs, Hardware, Software, Limited Liability, etc.)? 6. On average, how long would it take your company to develop and/ or manufacture an acceptable sub assembly of this type prior to any testing or air worthiness qualification processes? 7. Is your Company either a) an authorized reseller; b) a distributor; or c) to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for any potential commercial or non-commercial product in support of this RFI? If either a. or b., please state the name of the manufacturer you represent and proof as an authorized reseller/distributor or OEM (in other words can your company obtain parts from OEM throughout the life of this requirement?) 8. Is it your company's policy that materials/items procured from your company yet inserted by another vendor into an existing system will void the warranty of your company's materials/items? 9. Does your company currently have an active contract with General Services Administration (GSA) for the same/similar product(s)? If yes, please provide your Company's GSA Schedule number and a link to your schedule. 10. Does your company currently have a contract to provide the same/similar product(s) (as identified in this RFI) with any other Federal Agency?
