- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire the following items for the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, DC: ASA DDM85 Mount with laser & 2x 4.5KG, CW'S (No CW-Shaft), Model Number: A2-DDM85-L; ASA DDM85 standard counterweight shaft, Model Number: A2-85DC14; Connection plate for Losmandy adapter DDM60LMGB, Model Number: A2-85DC22; ASA Dovetail saddle for 3" Losmandy, Model Number: A2-DDM60LMGB; ASA DDM85 10KG Counterweight - Stainless Steel, Model Number: A2-GG160-10; Planewave 12.5" CDK Telescope, Model Number: PI-CDK125; and Planewave EFA Kit for CDK12.5, Model Number: PI-125901. This is a sole source action to be awarded as a new fixed price purchase order to Oceanside Photograph and Telescope, Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Oceanside Photograph and Telescope, Inc, under authority of FAR 6.302(c) (1), only one responsible source capable of providing the required supplies that will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 333314 and the small business standard size is 500 employees.
