- Description
- The 902d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract for JBSA-Lackland Bus Services, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The award will be made to Brymak and Associates, Inc., 117 Pemberton PL, Hopkinsville KY 44240. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all management/supervision, personnel, vehicles, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, labor, and fuel necessary to successfully support all directed JBSA-Lackland student transportation needs. This includes daily shuttle services throughout JBSA-Lackland and scheduled and unscheduled passenger transportation to support travel requirements up to 125 miles from JBSA-Lackland. The contractor shall be an approved DOD Carrier in accordance with the Defense Travel Management Office certification requirements. The contractor must be fully capable of commencing and providing fully operational/complete bus services on 1 October 2013. Transportation load for this requirement averages between 200 and 250 runs per a day, with an average daily passenger load of 4,650 for an average annual passenger load of 1.7 million. This requirement is in direct support of the 37th Training Wing, the largest training mission in the Air Force. This action will result in a 9 month period of performance with 3 one month options, Firm-Fixed Price contract commencing on 1 October 2013. The NAICS code for this requirement is 485113 with a size standard of $14 million. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted.
