Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Applied Maths Inc., 13809 Research Blvd, Suite 645, Austin, TX 78750. The purchase order is for providing upgrade BioNumerics software from V.5.1 to V.7 and from five standalone licenses to five network licenses. Applied Maths is the manufacturer of the license. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 811219. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide upgrades of the BioNumerics software and service support services must submit written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within ten (5) days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
