Description
Float, Switch, Liquid / Ohio Class SSBN (Trident) / 6680-01-156-9605 The Purchase Request (PR) number is 1000012616. The approved Qualified Products List (QPL) sources are GEM Sensors Inc. (CAGE 04034) and Madison Company (CAGE 21603). Suppliers must be listed on the QPL as approved manufacturers before an award can be made to them. Suppliers not on the QPL can be awarded the contract provided they are providing the product of an approved manufacturer listed on the QPL or they can demonstrate that their product meets the standards before award. Suppliers should refer to clause provision 52.209-1 of the solicitation for QPL instructions. Suppliers desiring to become an approved source must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. The NSN is a non-commercial item. FOB is at destination. Inspection & Acceptance point is destination. The request delivery is 61 days after receipt of order. NSN is a critical application item. The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will have a base quantity of 129 each and an option to extend for four (4) years with each option year having estimated annual demand quantities of 516 each. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set aside for small business concerns utilizing competitive procedures. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is August 12, 2013. Suppliers must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Annual updates to supplier's registration will be required. Suppliers are required to complete or update the representations and certification (ORCA) can be completed at www.sam.gov. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on the same issue date cited on the solicitation.
