- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE DAVIS DAM EQUIPMENT STORAGE BUILDING This is a pre-solicitation notice for acquisition planning purposes. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time, but a solicitation is being planned for release on or about 5 August 2013 at no cost. All Hubzone small business qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of potential contractors to meet the needs of the Government. The capability statements will be used to determine an appropriate procurement strategy. This is not a request for proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this request for information. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region has a requirement to construct a pre-fab steel building for equipment storage near Davis Dam in Bullhead City in Mohave County, Arizona. The statement of magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The potential future solicitation will schedule a date for a site visit for vendors to inspect the site prior to submittal of proposals. Interested vendors are invited to submit capability packages describing the products/services they provide related to providing and constructing a steel building. Packages should include the following information: (1)Provide business name, address, business size and socio-economic type (8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business) and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. (2)Submit capability information, such as similar projects performed, dollar value of similar projects, photographs, and customer contact information. (3)Submit product/service information, including pictures, sizes, estimated cost, and proposed delivery/installation times.
