- SYNOPSIS This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to obtain information from qualified businesses, with special interest in seeking: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Business Concerns. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any incurred in developing information provided to the Government. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMEMT The Atlanta Veteran Affairs Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur Georgia 30033 anticipates a requirement for Pharmaceutical Services to VA Beneficiaries seen by the Atlanta VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's) at the below locations. Emergent/urgent pharmacy prescriptions for VA patients seen at the CBOC's who cannot wait for prescriptions to be filed by the VA pharmacy. In addition, VA patients will be provided emergent/urgent pharmacy prescriptions written by the VA Emergency Room after the hours of 9:30 pm Monday thru Friday and 4:30 pm Saturday thru Sunday. Contractor is also responsible for including pharmacies that provide 24 hour medication pick-up. All subsequent prescriptions will be provided by the pharmacy unless previously coordinated with contractor. Delivery shall be made at the following CBOC locations: 1. 175 Medical Boulevard, Stockbridge Georgia 30281. 2.1513 Cleveland Avenue, East Point Georgia 30344. 3.455 Philip Boulevard, Bldg 200, Lawrenceville Georgia 30046. 4.3931 Mundy Mill Road, Oakwood Georgia 30566. 5.2041 Mesa Valley Way, Austell Georgia 30106. 6.39 Oak Hill Court, Newnan Georgia 30265. 7.30 Chateau Drive, Rome Georgia 30161. 8.755 Commerce Drive, Decatur Georgia 30030. 9.1284 Highway 515 East, Ste 100, Blairsville Georgia 30512. 10.180 Martin Drive, Carrollton Georgia 30117. The NAICS code is 446110 POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large) and DUNS Number. 2) Provide a Statement of Capability that demonstrates the offeror's past performance in providing this type of service. 3) Submit Capability Statements via email to don.grier@va.gov by August 2, 2013. Responses should be received no later than 2:00 PM EST. NO CAPABILITY STATEMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 3, 2013. AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. (DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION). A FUTURE NOTICE WILL BE POSTED WHEN THE SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED. 4) Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation.
