Description

COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for construction item as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a Request for an RFP response with a SF 1442. VA-259-13-RP-0843 is hereby issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for MRI A/C Corrections at the Denver, CO Veteran Affairs Medical Center. This combined synopsis/solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56, 02 March 2012. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business size is $33.5M. See attachment VA-259-13-RP-0843 Statement of Work, for all pertinent details to this RFP Submission. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This Request for Proposal is for construction of an MRI A/C Corrections Trailer. The Contractor shall supply all tools, labor, material, equipment and supervision required to install new Heating, Ventilating and Conditioning (HVAC) units for the MRI Trailer outside (ground mounted) of the MRI Trailer and run all required piping, supports and other required components to the trailer in order to meet the MRI Equipment HVAC requirements at the Denver VA Medical Center. Work includes, but is not limited to, all site-preparation requirements, such as removal and disposal of existing HVAC units and new construction for the installation of HVAC units to the ground and connections to the MRI Trailer without compromising the trailers structure. Also, contractor will complete all electrical work necessary to disconnect existing units and connect new units. See attached SOLICITATION.VA-259-13-RP-0843 for complete Statement of Work. A pre-proposal conference will be held on 7/25/13 from 8:00am-9:00 am in Building 7, Facility Maintenance Service (FMS) at Denver VA Medical Center. The address is: Denver VA Medical Center, 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, CO 80220. This pre-proposal conference is not mandatory. Written questions will be due by 7/26/13 MT at 5pm in writing to the Contract Specialist, Tracy Lynn Jackson, at tracy.jackson2@va.gov, 303-603-3272. After the deadline for submission of questions listed above, it will be up to the discretion of the Government to answer additional questions. RFP's will be due by 5 pm Mountain time on 8/7/13 in electronic format in no more than 5MG. See attachment to this synopsis, VA-259-13-RP-0843, Statement of Work, section called: Requirements for Electronic submission, for additional details on the process of electronic submission of the RFP's. Responses will be emailed to Contract Specialist, Tracy Lynn Jackson, tracy.jackson2@va.gov. This construction of an MRI A/C Corrections Trailer award will be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business set-aside, utilizing VAAR 852.219-10, VA Notice of Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. (IAW), 804.1102 Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database, the business must be verified for ownership and control and listed in the vendor information page database, (http://www.vetbiz.gov) at the time of the RFP submittal/receipt and at award, otherwise the offeror will be considered non-responsive.
