Description

Construct a new Three Story Exterior Addition for the Royal C. Johnson VA Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to construct a three story new exterior addition on the roof of the hospital laboratory on the west side of Building 5 located at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center, 2501 West 22nd Street, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57105. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-13-R-2626 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about August 5, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held sometime during the week of August 19-23 2013. (See solicitation when available for specific date/time/location of site visit). Bids are tentatively scheduled to be due on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be approximately 550 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 dollars.
