- Description
- For Sale - Pine and Hardwood Timber: Harvesting of selected Pine trees in Forest Record Unit #45 as specified. The sale consists of approximately 2,266 pine sawtimber trees containing an estimated 1,154,658 board feet Doyle Scale. Log scales based on Form Class 80 for pine. The timber to be harvested is located on approximately 71 acres of the East Reservation, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana as indicated on Map Drawings B14-1, and B14-2. A 10% bid deposit will be required. This agency will consider a bid from all responsible sources. The solicitation package, FA4608-13-B-0001, will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunity Website (www.fbo.gov) on or about FRIDAY, AUGUST 9, 2013. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available; interested parties will have to download the solicitation package. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 113310 with size standard 500 people. You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the System for Award Management (SAM) database -- Reference: DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A.
